PRODUCT DISCLAIMER & CARE REQUIREMENTS

By purchasing a PureShield, the customer agrees to the disclaimers, care requirements, and upkeep responsibilities described below in full. The full version is also published at pureshields.co/pages/terms-conditions.

CUSTOM CONSTRUCTION

Every PureShield is custom built. Each acrylic panel is formed and set to be as straight as possible, but acrylic is a living material and no two panels are ever identical. Some degree of curve is present in every panel. This is a normal characteristic of custom-formed acrylic and is not considered a defect. In most cases panels will continue to relax and straighten slightly over time with normal installed use.

RECEIPT & INSPECTION

Every PureShield is quality checked before it leaves our facility. All hardware is counted, tested, and verified fastened to specification prior to shipment.

Inspect your order on arrival. Confirm the panel count, the hardware count, and the condition of each piece before assembly begins.

If any structural hardware appears damaged, defective, or improperly fastened, contact us within 24 hours of receiving and assembling your shield. Reports made after that window cannot be honored.

ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION

Assembly and installation are the responsibility of the customer. Read the assembly instructions and these care requirements in full before beginning.

Acrylic panels are heavy and rigid. Use adequate assistance when lifting, positioning, and joining panels, and set the shield on a level, stable surface. Do not overtighten hardware. Overtightening will stress the acrylic and can cause cracking.

PureShields is not liable for any injury, property damage, or hazard arising from the assembly, installation, movement, or use of the product.

CLEANING & CARE

Use the included cleaning package to maintain the clarity of your acrylic. Clean only with a clean microfiber cloth.

Do not clean with a dirty or previously used cloth, shop rag, paper towel, or any abrasive material. Dust and grit trapped in a soiled cloth will smear the surface and cause fine scratching that cannot be undone. A clean cloth every time is the single most important thing you can do to protect the finish.

STORAGE & HANDLING

Store acrylic panels completely flat on an even, level surface, or completely upright (straight up and down).

Never store or lean panels at an angle. Leaning will introduce a permanent bow into the acrylic.

Store panels at room temperature or cooler, both in and out of use.

COVERAGE

Damage resulting from improper cleaning, improper storage, leaning, or exposure to elevated temperatures is not covered.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Once the product is delivered, responsibility for its handling, assembly, use, storage, and upkeep passes to the customer. PureShields is not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or hazard occurring after delivery.

We stand behind our workmanship and are here to help. We are not responsible for damage that results from improper assembly, improper cleaning, improper storage, or failure to follow the requirements set out in this document.
